All represented state employees have been assigned to a bargaining unit.  If 30% of your bargaining unit asks to be allowed to vote on whether or not they want to continue to be represented by one of the public sector unions or not, a democratically-conducted, properly-supervised vote will occur.  HOWEVER, you have to ask!

This vote is called a "decertification vote."   The window of opportunity is open again.  From now until March 11, we have the opportunity to collect decertification cards.  Let us know if you would like to become more involved in this effort. We NEED YOUR help.  Here is how:

The first step: ask for the decertification vote.  Click here to get a card. OR, copy and paste at the bottom of this page.
(The card will ask whether you are in a supervisory bargaining unit or a non-supervisory one.
If you don't know, leave the space blank.)

Step two: Get ten of your co-workers to also sign cards and mail them to P.O. Box 7118, Olympia, WA 98507

Third: Ask each of the ten to get ten more co-workers to sign

Lastly but not the least.  Let us know if you would like to be an agency contact for a decertification campaign or work for a vote for your agency at some level.  Write to us at the above address or email via the contact us page.

Exert your rights to non-association.  Don't pay them money personally based on your strongly held beliefs.

Attention State Workers of Washington

“All political power is inherent in the people, and governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, and are established to protect and maintain individual rights.”  Washington State Constitution Article 1, Section 1.

This form is about state government public sector unions and laws forcing state workers to pay these private entities ‘as a condition of employment.’  These parties signed separate agreements allowing all employees to vote on contract ratification.  Our government, our employer ignored the constitution by not informing us, neither did the unions.  We did not get a fair vote.  We want that vote now.

Sign and mail this card today.
