Letters to the editor should be fewer than 250 words. They will be edited for length, clarity and accuracy. Writers must mention relevant factual, financial, political or other interest in their subject. All letters, including those sent via e-mail, must have the writer's name, day and night telephone numbers and mailing address. We may not acknowledge or respond to all letters or submissions. Letters become the property of Free Conscience and may, but are not guaranteed to be published in all media. Anonymous letters will not be printed, although you may request and specify a pseudonym for publication. Send e-mail to decert@freeconscience.org .
